I’ve been fishing for as long as I can remember. I started off fishing in local streams and ponds but fishing from the shore and wading in streams was just too limiting for me. I needed to get out on the water. So through the wonder of technology I stumbled across this club on the internet. Finding and joining this club was the best thing I could have ever done to not only enhance my fishing skills, but to also meet some great friends and have some memorable times. I have learned a great deal from many of the members since joining this club. From my first tournament as a co-angler, I knew it was only a matter of time before I bought my first boat. I still remember the first tournament that I did fairly well in and those last minutes of fishing. Catching bass after bass in the last moments, my hands were trembling from the adrenaline rush. I was an athlete my entire adolescence, and I never felt a rush like that!!!! After that experience, I knew I was hooked, for life.
I don’t know if I have a favorite body of water. I guess I like whatever water I’m on when I’m catching fish. I also thoroughly enjoy the hunt, even if I’m not smashing them. I really enjoy the bigger bodies of water like Champlain and Winnie. I only wish they were a little closer to home. Those places are incredibly big and have countless amounts of fish. They’re just awesome. I guess my style of fishing would lean towards finesse; however, I do love to throw a jerk bait around. I feel most confident with a drop shot, a senko, a tube, or a jerk bait in my hand. Over the next few seasons I plan on flipping a jig and burning a spinnerbait a little more. I still have a lot to learn. I look forward to many more fish and even more great memories. See you on the water!!
